Terms

These terms cover your use of decira.co. Customers' use of the Decira platform is governed by their customer agreement, which takes precedence where the two differ.

Information, not advice

Decira provides information to support funding decisions. It isn't legal, tax, financial or investment advice, and it isn't a recommendation to fund or not fund any organization. The funder makes the decision.

Accuracy

Our profiles draw on public records, which can be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Each section of a profile says where its information came from, and filed figures show the form and year they came from. If you find an error, see Corrections.

Using what we publish

  • You may quote and share our published findings, with attribution to Decira and a link to the source page.
  • Don't alter our charts or figures, or present them in a way that suggests Decira endorses you or your conclusions.
  • You may not reuse our content in a product, dataset or commercial service, or use it to train AI models, without our written permission.
  • Profiles are for customers only, under their customer agreement, and may not be published or shared outside the customer's organization.

Not a consumer report

Decira is not a consumer reporting agency, and its profiles are not consumer reports. You may not use anything from Decira to make decisions about an individual's employment, credit, insurance or housing.

What you may not do

  • Copy our site or data in bulk, or scrape it by automated means
  • Resell or redistribute our content without written permission
  • Try to get around security or access limits
  • Use anything from Decira to harass or harm a person or organization

Ownership

The site, its content and the Decira name belong to Decira Inc. The public records we draw on remain public; our arrangement, analysis and presentation of them are ours.

We link to outside sources so you can check them. We're not responsible for their content.

Disclaimer

The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Limits of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Decira and its officers, employees and agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to one hundred US dollars. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute about these terms or the site will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you and Decira consent to their jurisdiction.

General

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Not enforcing a term isn't a waiver of it. These terms are the entire agreement between you and Decira about the site; a customer agreement governs use of the platform.
