People data
Decira profiles organizations, not people. Some people appear in a profile because public records name them in their role at an organization.
Who appears
- Officers, directors, key employees and the highest-paid staff, as listed on the organization's Form 990
- The principal officer and development lead, as filed
- People named in news coverage about the organization
What we show
- Name and title, as filed
- Compensation, as reported on the Form 990, which federal law makes public
- News coverage about the organization that names them
What we never collect
- Home addresses or personal contact details
- Information from personal websites or personal social media accounts
- Information about family members
- Anything not connected to the person's role at the organization
Screening
At the Reviewed level, the people an organization names as its public officers are checked against government sanctions lists. A similar name isn't a match: an analyst reviews every possible match, and only a confirmed match appears to customers.
Who sees it
- People data appears only to signed-in customers, inside an organization's profile.
- There are no public pages about individuals.
- We don't sell or license data about individuals.
Use limits
Decira profiles are not consumer reports. Customers may not use Decira to make decisions about an individual's employment, credit, insurance or housing.
