Institutional funders make decisions they have to stand behind — to a board, to a principal, sometimes in public. Most make them with no research staff, thin and dated public data, and a choice between an expensive consultant engagement and incomplete information.
The information exists. It’s just fragmented across filings, audits, watchdog data and news coverage, and reading it well takes time and expertise most funders don’t keep on payroll.
What we actually do
Decira builds analyst-reviewed intelligence on the organizations institutional funders are considering — governance, financial health, adverse media, and peer benchmarks, sourced and dated.
Every fact is traceable. No judgment ships without a human behind it.
Automated tools can organize public filings and generate a score. They cannot tell you that a headline is a misattribution, that an investigation is politically motivated, or that a governance pattern is routine in one field and alarming in another. That judgment is what a funder would hire an analyst for. Decira is that analyst.
